About us
We are a small Minnesota based business that started with one main goal in mind - to create and develop a product that just about anyone, young to old, can use to go out and have some fun, enjoy the simpler things in life, and create some memories...all while doing it on what we have created for you. We have put together an awesome product that we call Skitter Skates. If you look up the definition of skitter you will come across words like lightly, quickly, or scurrying, which is how we came up with the name Skitter Skates because that's how we would define our product. It's like a mini skateboard on each foot using inline wheels with a roller-skating feel, all while being strapped in using your own form of appropriate shoes. Our thoughts on this product were to keep them as light and durable as possible without sacrificing safety, placing the wheels on the sides and as low to the ground as we could build them to give you a better sense of balance and control, with a stopper underneath in the back. We've also added some safety features like grip tape on the deck to prevent shoe slippage while riding and reflector stickers in the back so others can see you from behind when you can't necessarily see them. There is a small learning curve to riding these but once you quickly figure it out you will be amazed how easy they are and how much fun you can have, and that my friends is why we developed Skitter Skates.
